Stainless Steel 304L Seamless Pipes exhibits excellent corrosion resistance. Stainless Steel 304L Welded Pipes can be used in more corrosive environments such as salt water and chemical containers. SS 304L EFW Pipes is found in a variety of commercial sectors, particularly in the chemical industry. The inverse analysis in Stainless Steel 304L ERW Pipes resulted in a good match between temperature fields of the experimental data and the numeric simulation results. Stainless Steel 304L Round Pipes maintains its strength and toughness at sub-zero temperatures. Full annealing of Stainless Steel 304L Square Pipes should follow any operation to reduce internal stress and optimize corrosion resistance. SS 304L Rectangular Pipes cannot be hardened by heat treatment. Cold working operations will increase the strength and hardness of Stainless Steel 304L Electropolish Pipes and might leave it slightly magnetic. SS 304L Hexagonal Pipes has ease of cleaning and high strength with low weight. 304L Stainless Steel Pipes is more sensitive to hot cracking upon welding than the other alloys.
Our in-house processing facility shapes SS 304L Pipes to your exact requirements, custom lengths or end finishes you need. Alloy 304L Pipes resist carbide precipitation and can handle heating within the 425°C–815°C sensitisation range without losing structural strength. Grade 304L Pipes are used in tool wrap rolls, which companies rely on for heat-treating parts through repeated thermal cycles. Type 304L Pipes hold up well against moderately oxidising and reducing media, from dilute acids to marine atmospheres. Stainless Steel 304L Bush Hex Pipes carry slightly lower tensile strength than standard Stainless Steel 304 Pipes, but that's the trade-off you get for better weldability.

Low carbon content is what really sets 304L apart. Max carbon is at 0.03%, against 0.08% in standard 304. This means the grade resists sensitisation during welding, so fabricators can skip post-weld annealing on most schedule sizes. That one property is why it shows up across chemical processing lines, food and beverage plants, and pharmaceutical facilities where weld-zone corrosion just isn't an option. Oil and gas operators use it for sour service piping. Water treatment plants use it where chloride exposure is high. Construction projects pick it for structural runs that face the weather. Manufacturing Stainless Steel Pipes under ASTM A312 TP304L keeps wall thickness, tensile strength, and chemical composition within fixed tolerances, batch after batch. A certified Stainless Steel 304L Pipe Supplier will back each shipment with mill test certificates, verified heat numbers, and dimensional reports. Working with an established Stainless Steel 304L Pipe Manufacturer also means lead times and pricing you can actually rely on.
It is a standard covering for seamless and welded austenitic stainless pipe with 0.03% max carbon. Used for high-temperature and general corrosive service where weld-decay resistance matters.
Chemical plants, food processing lines, pharmaceutical manufacturing, oil and gas pipelines, water treatment systems and structural construction. Corrosion resistance and weldability make it suitable for all of these.
Seamless, welded (ERW and EFW), and hex bush variants. These ships in schedules 5S through 80S, covering everything from light instrumentation lines to heavy process piping.
Sizes run from ⅛" NB to 24" NB. OD tolerances follow ASTM A999, with wall thickness matched to schedule 5S, 10S, 40S, and 80S.
Yes. The 0.03% max carbon content stops chromium carbide precipitation at weld zones, so 304L welds fine without post-weld heat treatment in most standard thicknesses.
